Regular visits by Michelle Hayward
Bsc (Hons) ITEC
Equine Sports Massage Therapist.
Michelle has ridden and worked with horses all her life.
Following a degree in Animal Physiology, Michelle went
on to qualify as an equine sports massage therapist,
learning her trade with Mary Bromiley, one of the best
known equine physiotherapists in the world.
Equine massage improves your horse's overall well-being
by releasing tension in bones, joints and muscles and
by aiding mental relaxation.
Equine massage is based on a thorough understanding of anatomy.
It helps improve circulation, enhance muscle tone, relax muscle spasms,
relieve and prevent adhesions and increase flexibility and range of
movement.
Massage is of great benefit in aiding recovery from injury and preventing
atrophy of muscles.
Regular sessions help to keep muscles loose and relaxed, which helps
reduce the risk of injury in fit horses.
